The FAS Guide to Licensed Premises for Outdoor Smoking Areas contains information regarding the Northern Territory of Australia’s Tobacco Control Legislation Amendment Act 2010, Part 2 of the Tobacco Control Regulations 2010 and the Enclosed Area Guidelines, and specifically relating to requirements for smoke free areas within liquor licensed premises.
The aim of this guide is to assist the operators of licensed premises in understanding the conditions for exempt areas, under the Tobacco Control Regulations of the Tobacco Control Act and the Enclosed Area Guidelines issued by the NT Chief Health Officer.
